A rare sofa/daybed designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for France & Daverkosen. The FD451 sofa/daybed has unique fold down arms that allow this piece to easily and quickly go from a compact sofa to a daybed. Features a solid teak frame with cane detailing set into the sculptural arms. This is piece is in very nice condition, it appears to have a had a couple very minor repairs as pictured, it retains its original loop springs and internal frame cushions. The upholstery was likely redone at some point, but it is a period correct oatmeal tweed. Seat height is 17.5".

This is the safest way to get your item to you without damage. Sometimes, chairs and smaller items can be sent via a more economical route. We will try and negotiate the best shipping rates available with various carriers. Other shipping can be arranged on your own if you prefer.
