KEM Weber Springer Chair

A fantastic chair designed in 1935 for Lloyd Manufacturing by Karl Emmanuel Martin (KEM) Weber (1889 -1963). The quintessential American art deco lounge chair, known as the "springer" chair, because the chair sits on flat band chromed springs that allow it to function as a rocking chair. This is the higher backed version, and it was reupholstered at some pint and a very soft almost suede like leather. The leather shows some minor scratching as shown in the photos. The chrome on this piece is flawless.
