Danish Teak Dry Bar by Johannes Andersen

Fantastic dry bar designed by Johannes Andersen for J. Skaaning & Søn, Denmark, circa 1960. The sloping face of the bar is accented with opposing grain circle inlays that are also repeated on the reverse. The top flips open and drops down on the service side of the bar creating ample serving surface, and a large work surface with a mirrored back and recessed bottle storage. There is additional bottle storage compartment on the bottom of the bar that flips open at a slight angle making bottle access as simple as possible. This piece is all original, it shows very minor signs of age and use with some very light surface scratches and other blemishes. The mirror back shows some minor loss. The last photo shes the bar paired with Erik Buck stools that we have available separately.
