Mahogany Buffet by Gilbert Rohde for Brown Saltman

Gorgeous early 1940s buffet by modern pioneer, Gilbert Rohde (1894–1944), for Brown Saltman. Constructed in beautiful golden mahogany with fantastic details in the pulls and along the front edge. The piece has plenty of storage between three drawers. the drop front bottom cabinet, and the two large cabinets on each end. This piece has been completely refinished and is in immaculate condition.

Shipping is available to the continental United States. For larger pieces such as dressers, credenzas and sofas, we generally recommend ‘white glove service’ which means the item is shipped via private carrier, blanket wrapped and delivered into your home. This is the safest way to get your item to you without damage. Sometimes, chairs and smaller items can be sent via a more economical route. We will try and negotiate the best shipping rates available with various carriers. Other shipping can be arranged on your own if you prefer.

Once your item has left the our possession, we are not responsible for late deliveries, damage or lost items. Please contact the carrier for a claim. As always, we highly recommend pickup in person. It’s always free and we encourage you to use this method first if possible.
